The 16.25" carbon steel barrel is tipped with a small but efficient muzzle brake for fast follow-up shots. Springfield Armory® also offers the M1A SOCOM 16 CQB from the factory with a HEX™ Dragonfly™ red dot sight. This compact, rugged, and effective red dot mounts to the stripper clip guide in the perfect spot for close range, both-eyes-open engagements.
